"The City"

So, I'm not a big fan of hunting but it's a pretty big thing in Justin's family. We go on the bow hunt every August in the Manti Lasal canyon. It's so beautiful up there. It's pretty much a family reunion. There are usually more than 100 people! We form a huge circle of trailers and tents (just like the pioneers did with their wagons -ha ha) and everybody that hunts up there knows "The City" It's so fun. We have a candy hunt, stuffed animal hunt, and a 4wheeling adventure to blue lake complete with ambushes. We bought a tent trailer (just for Cooper right?) last year since Cooper's first camping trip was when he was just 6wks old in Moab. He already loves camping just as much as Mom and Dad which is a good thing since it's a pretty big thing in our life.

Surfin' USA!

Cooper's first trip to Bear Lake was a blast! Justin's family goes every year for a week (can't say I'm sad about marrying into that tradition!) and Cooper loved it. We spent all day one day at the beach and he thought it was great. He loves the water and he would even fall asleep in his little floaty. Must be pretty relaxing, even in Bear Lake, which isn't the warmest water! It was great to spend time with all the cousins. Justin's brother and his wife came from Arkansas with their two kids. We can't wait for it this year!

Straight From Heaven

Here are some newborn pictures of Cooper Justin Milne just one day old. Pretty sweet isn't he? He was born February 11, 2007 at 8:18pm. He was 8lbs 2oz and 22" long. He was due January 28 (yeah, tell me about it) but decided to come a little bit late. The labor was ok but a little scary because his heart rate kept going down and would't come back up during contractions. Luckily he came quick so we didn't have to do a c-section but afterwards the doctor found a knot in the umbilical cord (scary!). Apparently when he was tiny he did some sort of acrobat in my tummy. Luckily it didn't cause any problems. He has been such a good baby and so well mannered. We are so lucky! Hard to believe it's been almost a year.

This is a first!

Hey, everybody! I am finally posting something on our blog which has been in the process of being made for a few weeks. Apparently I'm not all that computer literate so it has taken awhile to figure it out and some help from friends. Sad huh? Anyway, here are some pics of my favorite baby in the whole world! They are about 5mos old but our laptop doesn't download from our computer so I will have to work on getting the ones from our camera on here somehow. Hope everyone is doing well!
